CHAMPJAM 1pm-5pm in front of the main clubhouse on Thursday, July 9th!

Athletes, Coaches, and their families are invited to an afternoon of fun at the USAHSCTL National Championship ‘CHAMPJAM’ event!

Enjoy music from a live DJ while playing yard games, Annie Oakleys, and enjoying ice cream courtesy of the Lansing Sports Commission!

Participants can also sign up for free drawings for discounts on League apparel!

ANNIE OAKLEY COMPETITION FOR COACHES AND ATHLETES!

Athlete and coach challenges

  • All registered athletes and team coaches are eligible.
  • 12-gauge ammunition and targets provided.
  • Prize for each flight winner.
  • Award and prize for overall winner of each challenge.
  • Participation is limited.

Athlete competition begins at 1 p.m.

  • Gather behind field #10 along the field sidewalk.
  • Each participant will be given a wristband to verify participation.
  • Participants will be directed to a field for their flight competition.
  • Each flight winner will then participate in the championship flight.
  • The coach competition begins after the athlete competition.

Annie Oakley rules

  • Many participants will be positioned along the 27-yard line on the trap field.
  • The first participant will get the first opportunity to shoot the thrown target.
  • If the first participant hits the target, they remain in the competition and the next round starts with the next participant.
  • If the first participant misses the target, then the second participant must shoot at the same target. If the second participant hits the target, they will remain in the competition and the previous participant is removed from the competition. If they miss the target, the third participant in line has the option to shoot at the same target.
  • If the third participant does not shoot at the target, the two previous participants remain in the competition.
  • If the third participant decides to shoot and hits the target, the previous two participants are removed from the competition. If the third participant misses the target, then all three participants remain in the competition.
  • If a participants shoots out of order, they are eliminated from the competition.
  • All rounds continue until there is one remaining participant who is declared the winner.
